The comprehensive MyHomeDoc system elevates telehealth closer to the clinic-visit experience than ever before.

The nine physical exams that are conducted with the MyHomeDoc handheld device enable telehealth providers to raise the bar higher. The medical-grade patient exams, conducted remotely, help to increase physician confidence in remote diagnosis, and, moreover, allow patients and physicians to follow up and monitor the patients’ ongoing clinical measurements—an advantage that can help confirm the chosen medical pathway.

In a world where telehealth is becoming increasingly center stage, the shortcomings of the pre-existing model point to the need for a more seamless experience for everyone. There needs to be a way to integrate physical exams into the process in a way that gives patients the option to choose how they want to receive their care. It needs to be user-friendly for the patient and convenient for the physician. Not to mention, the technological necessity for powerful, but simple admin tools and hybrid system architecture that integrates with any proprietary healthcare system to pull it all together.

Everything needs to merge and align together.

And that’s the origin story of MyHomeDoc. The attention to user experience, simplicity, and efficiency while offering a robust suite of services can be seen at every level. From the symbiotic device to the patient and physician apps to the system architecture. Everything has been considered—as has everyone involved. And that’s why we call MyHomeDoc one-stop healthcare for everyone.

MyHomeDoc uses a handheld, multi-sensor device that integrates with both Android and iOS smartphones. The combination of the MyHomeDoc handheld device and the smartphone include the following components:

  • Stethoscope - for recording sounds from the heart, lungs and abdomen
  • Infrared thermometer - for checking body temperature
  • Otoscope - for taking pictures of the inner ear
  • Oximeter - for checking saturation and heart rate
  • Smartphone camera - for recording pictures of the mouth, throat, and skin

The MyHomeDoc app makes it possible for the patient to connect with the physicians of their choice either synchronously or asynchronously. When used synchronously, the patient can connect with a physician via a VOIP-based video call, and simultaneously the system makes it possible to allow the physician to view the test results in real-time.
