EfA Technologies develops the RevDx device as a completely mobile and expandable solution that will be used initially in the primary care space. The RevDx will enable the practitioner without investing in space and expertise to make a better and quicker decisions as to the best treatment for the clinical condition (typically fever bearing condition). The initial use case of the CBC that will give results immediately will support an accurate diagnostics without waiting for the results to come back from the lab. By using a mobile device such as that, there will be no need for labeling and or sending the patients to the various labs for drawing too much blood. The blood sample is being prepared on our proprietary medical chip without reagents or mixing before inserting into the device.
The known use cases will be:
- Infectious diseases: Caused by a virus or bacteria? Decide when not to give antibiotics.
- Oncology treatments and specifically chemo treated patients who need to monitor their immune system regularly.
- Test and transmit at home (Home Hospitalization).
- Hemoglobin levels.
- Count and monitor all 5 different WBC's
- Anemia detection and monitoring.
- Pediatricians can use RevDx taking minimal blood quantities (one drop) analyzing the full blood count of the child on the spot.
- RevDx can be used anywhere also in military setups, travel, home visits, ER, bed side at the hospital and outside clinics.
- Veterinary: An additional algorithms to be developed analyzing the blood samples of animals.
- Parasites detection.
- Sickle cell Anemia.
The RevDx device will include an additional channels to further enhance the diagnostic capabilities and additional algorithms analyzing the microscopy images.
The solution also expands into a big data repository of location based microscopy images for management and research.
RevDx includes all modes of bi-directional communication and can be integrated to any EMR of choice.
