VIVI CAP1 intended for people with diabetes, is the only device of its kind that has been scientifically validated, has FDA, CE and other regulatory approvals in place, proven to maintain proper temperature of the insulin even when the device is exposed to both extreme high and low temperatures. Protecting the insulin from temperature damage, to preserve its potency, for years without any need for user intervention. It can be carried every day in a purse or pocket, always on the insulin pen.
The Click -n-Go™ technology used in VIVI CAP1 incorporates innovative, custom-designed, ultra-high vacuum insulation having small dimensions which are key for handheld portables. The insulation is combined with a unique "Smart" heat exchanger that absorbs heat whenever the temperature is higher than 82.4° F or 28° C, and spontaneously releases the excess heat back into the environment whenever the ambient temperature is normal room temperature. The product practically operates for years without any user intervention. Additional electronics, includes a temperature sensor that is activated by the user to measure the medication temperature and compare it to the allowable threshold. This provides the user intuitive indication (Green/Red LED) to the temperature status of the medication. Energy consumption from the battery running the temperature test circuit is low, providing years of reliable operation without any need for charging or battery replacement.
