The challenge

The world is hit by Covid-19, aging population is growing, millions suffer from chronic disease, and millions of others are discharged from hospitals to nursing homes or rehabilitation centers.

Healthcare is redefining itself, moving from the hospital environment to the comfort of home. However, homecare is still struggling as no efficient solutions are available for monitoring in a discreet, comfortable, and contactless manner. In addition, justifiable privacy concerns among health providers and users are raised, as data and health information are vulnerable to exploitation and manipulation by third parties.

The solution

We realized that the exodus from hospital to home, as well as the massive growth in telehealth, require a different approach altogether. For the past six years we have developed a disruptive solution which combines unprecedented sensing capabilities, data collection, analysis and decision support mechanisms to drastically change the way healthcare is implemented, and to improve care for us all.

Our sensing platform is based on a safe and reliable proprietary sensor, operating at very high frequency (116GHz-123GHz) that can sense vital signs and other physiological and behavioral indicators to assess the subject’s status of wellbeing. This data is uploaded to Neteera’s HIPAA and GDPR-compliant cloud and is available to the subject or caregiver and to enable further analysis to support decisions.

Neteera’s technology is non-vision based (no cameras) and we ensure that all information obtained is completely anonymized, thereby providing ultimate privacy.

Our solution is changing the way things are done – no further need for patient engagement, for undressing or for consumables. Caregivers do not need to connect patients to multiple devices and hospital acquired infections (HAI’s) can potentially be reduced. This will simplify and disrupt healthcare.

Looking ahead
