Mr. Nahum Ferera is an entrepreneur specialized in leading medical device projects from an idea to commercialization.

Nahum founded EyeYon Medical alongside Dr. Daphna and Dr. Marcovich in 2011 and serves as active CEO. Nahum led the commercialization of EyeYon’s initial product – the Hyper-CL™️ - from an idea to CE approval and FDA clearance.

Nahum has extensive experience in c-level management, ophthalmic medical devices, business development, clinical trials, regulation, and intellectual property.

Prior to EyeYon Medical, Nahum led a project of non-invasive blood glucose monitoring, successful in passing the clinical trials and resulting in a granted patent. His experience includes developing medical devices in the field of cardiac rate management based on MEMS technology.

Additionally, Nahum serves as a mentor for the international MBA at Tel Aviv University at the Israeli bio-executive forum, and as a panelist in the international MBA program at Technion, Israel.

Ferera holds MBA & B.Sc. Eng. in biomedical engineering from the Tel Aviv University, Graduate of the Merage Leadership Seminar for Life Sciences Executives at the University of California, Directors Course at IDC Executive Center and CRA at GCP Academy.

Jeanne Kehren graduated from the Maisons-Alfort Veterinary School and holds a master in Virology from the Pasteur Institute and a PhD in Immunology from the Paris 7 University.

Jeanne Kehren started her career at Novartis, where she worked in different R&D roles and drove the integration of innovative technologies in drug development. She also fostered the integration of large scale data in pre-clinical and clinical investigations and developed biomarker and stratification approaches across different disease areas. She joined Sanofi in 2009 as Project Director and held successive positions in Product Development across different therapeutic areas, bringing together Commercial, R&D and Industrial Affairs teams on some major development projects. After joining the Global Strategic Development group in charge of products and Franchise investment strategies, she took the lead of the Early Assets group for Diabetes & Cardiovascular and Primary Care working on the reshaping of the portfolio and the development of new businesses. Jeanne joined Bayer on July 1, 2019, heading Digital & Commercial Innovation. As of Feb. 1, 2021 she has been appointed Chief Information Officer Pharmaceuticals in addition to her other responsibilities.

Inon Elroy is a seasoned and professional executive in international economic and technological cooperation, innovation platforms that bring together entrepreneurs, academy institutions and governments. Inon was appointed Economic Minister to North America in August 2016. He has more than twenty years of experience representing the Ministry of Economy and Industry in a wide range of executive positions both in Israel and overseas.

As Vice Director General of the Israel Ministry of Economy and Industry from 2012-2016, Inon was tasked with overseeing industrial policy (promoting domestic production and innovation), trade regulations (liberalization of imports, anti dumping, and standardization), and  regional economic planning.  In addition, he supervised the Ministry's digital strategy, and  initiated policies to foster  innovation synergies between the public and private sectors. Inon served as the Economic and Commercial Counselor in France (2001-2005) and Germany (2009-2011). Earlier in his career, he was an advisor to several ministers of Economy and Trade.

Inon served as a board member of the research committee of the Office of the Chief Scientist, which approves industrial R&D projects. He was also Alternate Director for the bi-national R&D funds BIRD(US-Israel), SIIRD (Singapore –Israel), and KORIL (Korea-Israel).  Additionally, he served on the boards of the Israel Wine Institute and the Israel Consumer Council.

Inon holds an MBA from the University of Haifa and a BA degree in Political Science and Geography from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. 

Uri Gat-Palash currently serves as the managing director of S.L.E leading an operation that manages over 10,000 products and provides orders to 4,000 endpoints through many diverse segments at different frequency, while complying with the strictest standards such as GMP / GDP and Israeli Ministry of Health regulations.

Hilla Shaviv is a biomedical engineer and a serial entrepreneur in the women's health arena, with more than 20 years of experience in medical device R&D, the last 13 years she focused on researching and developing women's health devices. Hilla studied bio-fluid dynamics focusing on developing a heart assist device, as well as carrying out computational blood flow and in-vitro simulations. 

Hilla earned a BSc from Caltech (Mechanical & Fluid Dynamics Engineering, cum laude) and an MSc from Tel Aviv University (Biomedical Engineering). 

An experienced leader in the high-tech ecosystem, Yair’s strong technical background combined with his global business expertise has driven exceptional business growth in numerous companies. A senior veteran with the 8200-Unit (Intelligence Corps), Yair served in multiple C-level positions with companies such as Enabley, Edvantage, Pontis and Amdocs. Yair earned his MBA from the Recanati Business School at Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. in Engineering (Information Systems and Industrial Management) from Ben-Gurion University. 

Dr. Doron M. Behar, CEO, Igentify holds an MD and PhD degrees from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. At his capacity as an MD he graduated two specialization programs in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine in Rambam Medical Center, Haifa Israel and a third specialization program in Medical Genetics at the Raphael Recanati Genetics Institute, Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson Campus. In parallel, his PhD thesis was in the field of Population Genetics. Dr. Behar's research area of interest is across the broad range of evolutionary genomics, ancestry, phylogenetics and translational genomics.

Dr. Behar has multi-year background experience in the development of genetic testing for the public using a direct internet based customer approach at his capacity as the chief medical officer of Gene by Gene Ltd. During the course of his work he gained expertise in in the various aspects of mass genotyping, including regulation, privacy, database creations and mining, website designs, automation, machinery, genetic analysis, quality reassurance, and more. His primary interest is in developing robust, low-priced genetic testing to the general public that will allow the hope of responsible personalized genetic medicine to any individual worldwide.

Since June 2016, Mr. Ropiecki has served as Executive Director of Care Compass Network and led the New York State healthcare transformation initiative under the DSRIP program, aiming at reducing avoidable services, integrating care, and reducing overall spend in the Southern Tier region.  Mr. Ropiecki has been instrumental in convening and collaborating with hospital systems and community-based leaders throughout a largely rural nine-county region representing 1/8th of NY. He has overseen the development of healthcare reform implementation and been a catalyst for innovative funding programs that support community-led initiatives integrated with clinical services and deployed over $135M in resources throughout the community.

Prior to CCN, Mr. Ropiecki was a member of the Deloitte & Touche Healthcare Advisory Practice where he spent over 8 years’ providing Internal Audit Transformation services to hospitals and health systems across the east coast and was responsible for managing all phases of the internal audit function. He has extensive knowledge and experience with points of transition in hospital workflows, operations, administration, compliance, and governance. Mr. Ropiecki received a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular/Molecular Biology from Binghamton University and is a certified Project Management Professional.

Siddharth Saha, MHM, BSc.  is the Vice President of Research for the Medical Technologies program area within Frost & Sullivan’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. In this role, Siddharth’s main function is providing thought leadership and big picture business implications of research conclusions to commercial and executive teams within stakeholder organizations in the healthcare space. Since 1988 he is researcher of the ISS involved in the research and Health Service control activities.

His research activity is mainly in the field of Bioengineering of Cardiovascular System, evaluation of performance of Medical Device such as Heart Valve prosthesis, prosthetic vessels, stenting, mechanical support to circulation. More recently tissue engineering was a new interest to monitor cell activity under shear stress. Moreover the field of interest is widening thanks to the opportunity to head a specialised unit in biomechanics of the motion and rehabilitation activities. Biotelemetry and Telemedicine is the final complement of those activities.

Designing activity has been devoted to design and develop new tools for in vitro experiment as well as novel prototypes for bioengineering in the field of in vitro technology assessment such as implementation  of test bench at the state of the art for complication potential due to the prosthetic flow field (Laser Doppler Anemometry, Particle Image Velocimetry) and to monitoring equipment for in vivo studies on animal (equipment set up for experimental trial) and in vivo non invasive measurement of physiological parameters. Scientific collaboration were set up with relevant research centres and university in the world (Achen, Sheffield etc).

The control activity was devoted to the technological assessment of medical device on the EU market following the harmonized European directives scheme together with the task of advisor for the competent authority within the national health service; HTA and wider eSurvey design were also tools developed for both medical device market (IT), assistive technologies needs and diffusion (WHO) and risk perception in radioprotection (EU).

Dissemination activities was set on different field such as hospital technical office regulation, authorization of operating theatres for organ transplant, technological assessment of medical devices particularly concerning cardiovascular pathology and telemedicine, eHealth and mHealth. Scientific work is comprised of more than 300 papers (H=21) and more communications, together with the head of national and international research projects.

For over 20 years Antonio has been working in Public Administration and Healthcare markets, covering the roles of Commercial Director at a territorial and national level. Since 2017, as Healthcare Director he works on the development and coordination of all commercial and production aspects of the entire E-Health proposition of the Group.
